When a team member leaves a match at any point it really kills the vibe in the match. We are rolling out a new anti-leaver/AFK system that will take offenders out of the queue for a bit so they don't negatively impact another match. 

Leaving & AFK Penalties

If the system has detected you leaving your previous match early or being AFK for a period of time your account will receive a leaver penalty. Once a leaver penalty is added to your account you will be unable to queue up for another match until the time has expired. If you are in a group with a player that has an active leaver penalty the entire group will also be unable to queue. 

What does it look like when I get a penalty?

You will see the above message when you try to enter a queue. We know this message is a little lacking and will get it updated in a future patch to include a timer for the remaining penalty. 

Can you remove my penalty?

In the majority of cases the answer will be no. If you are repeatedly having this penalty applied to your account and would like to chat with us to understand why we can double check and confirm that the system is performing correctly.
